I just learned what the 67 meme is and all I can say is nothing about this sort of internet humor has changed and I was the one who did...
I need to apologize to my parents and tell them I seriously truly get it now.
I shouldn't feel this old and tired at 22
Buuut I do think it's time people start transitioning away from calling this "Zoomer Humor," and start saying "Roomer Humor," instead. Because hate to make everyone else feel even older but depending on what year you consider the end of gen z, either the youngest of us are turning 17 this years (09 kids) or are turning 14 this year (2012 kids.) and the oldest ones are turning 29 this year (97 kids).
Not only are the VAST majority of us adults now, but most of us are also old enough to drink in the states. (05 kids are turning 21). The oldest of us aren't even considered young adults anymore. (26+) Like next year the oldest zoomers will be entering their 30s.
This sort of humor is coming from young children and tweens and bleeding into the youngest gen z. (Only if you consider 2012 the end of gen z) And let's be real here, ever since the Internet became useable, young children, tweens, and young teens have always have had this sort of humor. I don't ever see it changing.
I'm not here to shit on the humor I don't understand anymore, but I'm just saying it's time for people to realize Gen Z have basically mostly grown into adults and stop thinking of us as all still young children. We've basically replaced what you think of when you think of millennials at this point. All millennials will be 30+ by the end of this year. The oldest ones are in their mid 40s lol.
The gen alpha experience is feeling incredibly self aware compared to all these other people explaining how they were at your age and having this weird blurry mental age where you’re constantly questioning whether you’re mature for your age or just think you are.

Tau Alphabet Legacy - Generation A, Chapter 9 - An Age of Goodbyes
Molly announces to the family that Aya is the Generation A heir.
Abbott is initially upset, but he later realizes he’s just still stressed about his fight with Jerry and apologizes.
This realization is enough for him to initiate making amends, as well as future plans! Our eldest kid is engaged, wooh!
Alfred ages up into a young adult. He adds Coffee Lover* to his list of traits.
*KiaraSims trait
Tiffanie tells Aya that if they’re going to date, she needs it to be exclusive. Aya is pretty smitten with her at this point, so she agrees.
Abbott and Jerry have a small ceremony with immediate family present. They move out together later that night. I’m gonna miss them :(
Arielle comes over with news. She’s pregnant!! Apparently that one risky woohoo they had at his birthday party was enough to do the trick.
Alfred is pretty excited to be a dad.
Aya proves she’s serious about Tiffanie the old fashioned way. Putting out a fire at Tiffanie’s house.
It does seem like it worked.
Autumn struggles with an unrequited crush… on Kira’s (mean girl from last chapter) boyfriend, no less!
She opens up to Alfred about it, and he reminds her that she won’t have to chase the right one.
And with those words of wisdom, Alfred says his goodbyes and moves in with Arielle to prepare for their new baby. The house feels a lot emptier without our boys : / but next chapter we welcome a new heir at the helm, so that’s exciting!

Thanks for reading and remember to take care of yourselves!
