For yesterday’s Print Day in May I spent the morning waaaay out of my comfort zone, rolling ink on a gelli plate, on pieces of cardboard, string and other stuff and printing abstract-y art on paper. No masterpieces, but some interesting things to possibly use in future mixed media works.

I made a million gelli prints like three years ago and am just now getting around to sprucing them up a bit. These were done on a homemade gelli plate - I bought a real one a couple months ago and haven't even used it yet. Gelli printing is hella messy. #gelliplateprinting #artjournal #wip
