Another pic from my lighting workshop Saturday for @asmpne. Swipe to see the BTS. The workshop was in an amazing big white box studio @neponsetriverstudios which was great but had limited options to demonstrate environmental portraits. So I led the class through the common areas of the building looking for interesting possibilities and then quickly setting up and shooting them. And when you have a red London phone booth you kinda gotta shoot it. The workshop was maximizing results with minimal kit and this is a snooted AD100 for key, red gelled AD100 in a small umbrella for fill, and a handheld blue gelled V1 behind. I wanted the red to almost glow which is why I gelled red with an already red booth. Huge thanks to Gary @exposuresltd for volunteering to model for this and then giving the performance that makes the shot.
