how it feels to use GeForce Now
Klonoa is now available on GeForce Now!
so... Klonoa is now available on the GeForce Now service. Recently added by Nvidia, you can now play Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series in Nvidia form, on the go! You can play it in your Browser, Mobile, Laptop or PC. Just remember to connect to the internet to start playing Klonoa in Nvidia without the need for a Nvidia Card or sacrifices to your bank account! (You must have a Steam copy first before being able to use it for GeForce Now for proof of purchase.)
So, Big Hero 6 made the news and I didnāt even know about it until now. They premiered aĀ ātech demoā of sorts at Sundance with an episode Baymax Dreams which Iām sure we all know about by this point. This one is calledĀ āFredās Glitchā. The catch is that itās interactive and is actually the āFirst premium, interactive 3D animated content of its kind featuring touch interactionā Iāve heard of this technology before but I never saw it used, in fact, I think Jeff Bridges brought it up when talking about how Tron 3 should be a VR experience. (Iām a huge nerd for Tron as well)
I could see this being used as part of a ride or attraction at Disneyland/World (in fact any ride would be cool (It just had to be bumper cars, didnāt it?!) but I could see this potentially being used in the future of film, whether it gets popularized or not so itās kind of a big deal.
The only huge downside to this is that itās being used on smartphones, streamed through a browser so technical difficulties seem to have risen (I guess thatās why they based it off a glitch.) I guess they went more for the convenience route because trying to get something like that to run on a smartphone must take a lot of compression, it could go a lot farther on a bigger device. The program itself runs off of the already existing GeForce NOW, which is interesting, it makes me wonder if this was just a promotional collab rather than a tech demo but we can say that Big Hero 6 did it first.
