is manon's mistreatment a real thing or a façade
hxg is using the girls as shields and it's disgusting to me
Itâs so frustrating. Hiding behind a bunch of young women and then pushing them from behind⌠setting every single one of them up to take the brunt of fansâ frustration without letting them speak for themselves abt the situation at all.
If they can do this to Manon then they can do it to every single one of them.
And I MEAN setting them up! Giving Daniela most of Manonâs lines while sheâs still getting blamed for her boomer fatherâs Facebook comments, giving Sophia that canned-ass answer and stopping her from mentioning Manon on stage, making Megan take down her insta story, etc.
They arenât just negligently allowing the girls to receive hate but are actively making it worse.
Ppl keep trying to say itâs all Geffen and not Hybe but I donât believe that for a second. Not only am I skeptical about the amount of involvement that Geffen actually has with HxG, but itâs not like Hybe is an antiracist corporation. Iâd point my finger at them. Likeeee the booklet calling Manon lazy and selfish was printed in Korea yall. Theyâve go their artists singing the n word behind the scenes.
Lowkey their treatment of Manon has me skeptical that a kpop company is capable of successfully managing a multicultural & multiracial group in the US. The old Korean men calling the shots just donât understand the cultureâ treating blackness like a trend, inhuman working hours, the value that audiences place on artist involvement in the creative process, etc.
Theyâve got the infrastructure but none of the know-how. Plus they seem to expect KATSEYEâs fanbase to act like kpop fans (understand hiatuses, not expect artists to have involvement in the process, etc) but that doesnât align with the actual composition of their fanbase.
Imagine fumbling katseye⌠couldnât be me
I guess I shouldn't be shocked about the way hybe continues to run shit. They got 6 of the most talented performers to create katseye and immediately jumped into brand deals instead of letting them build their own personality as artists. Because they see their artists as products. It's only about raking in the money and we bought into it. I don't even think the majority of the music is bad. It's just inauthentic. And it really sucks that they're bulldozing over the brand identities that brought fans into these spaces in the first place.
manon is so batcat daughter. someone pls edit something, im trying to start a manon batcat kid agenda

katseye dynamic reading pls
it seems like thereâs no bad blood between them. they really enjoy each otherâs company and are eager to see what new projects theyâll undertake and what achievements theyâll reach together. theyâre very hard workers, putting a lot of effort into everything they do, and they genuinely want this group to succeed. however, lately, theyâve been feeling like theyâre being tricked or played. some members arenât doing well, and it feels like some are being portrayed in a way that doesnât reflect who they truly are. thereâs a sense of, âoh, iâm being trickedâ or âtheyâre doing this on purpose.â but they know that this isnât who they truly are. it seems like all they wanted was to show others how much effort they put into everything and how hard they work, but they feel hurt and disappointed that people misinterpreted that. they might be thinking, âwhy canât you see how hard i work?â
