Catra’s nose wrinkled as she explored the alleyway. She pounced on a nearby trash can and knocked it over. She dug her arm in deep, and went fishing with one of her claws. She pulled out a half eaten fish that somebody else had thrown away.
Catra stared at it for a moment, and then turned her head when she heard a familiar clanking, and sparking, noises that always seemed to accompany someone that she never thought she would see again. Catra looked at the fish, then back at Entraptra. She tossed the fish away.
Okay, let’s try not to look totally pathetic in front of the person who wants you dead.
Catra thought as her fingers curled into the fabric of her pants. Without thinking, she started to rip the fabric. What was she feeling right now? Momentary relief, maybe she didn’t kill Entraptra after all. Scorpia wouldn’t have a reason to hate her anymore. And then fear.
Entraptra hated her. She had to. She had every reason to. I want to run away. I want to run away. I want to run away. Flee. Scram. Escape. Live even if it meant abandoning everyone else. I won’t let this bitch kill me. That’s all Catra was thinking.
She wished she could think of somebody besides herself for once. She wished she could be happy to see Entraptra alive again, but she just couldn’t. “H-hey,” She said, stuttering through her usual introduction. “Before you get all pissy with me you should know, Hordak is the one who ordered that. He doesn’t take well to people disagreeing with him.” She shrugged. “In fact, he just tried to kill me all of five minutes ago for the same reason, so I totally get how you’re feeling right now.”
Tell more lies, Catra. That’s a great way to get people to trust you.
