Just thinking about this line from the second part of his lodge story. It’s interesting to me, now that we have his second outfit and he’s outed himself as a threat. We know that it was eventually going to come to this, having played PLA, but this line reads like that was always a last resort. He doesn’t want to be seen that way, he wants the player character to know him as, and remember him fondly as their friend.
