Nolan came to earth and got with Debbie as normal but as he started to come to adapt to living like a human he blames Debbie for turning him away from the path of Viltrums invasion plan and that Debbie was a threat to Viltrums plans. Around when mark is 9 Nolan tells mark about his powers and who he is and mark unlocks he’s power early. Nolan take this as mark is ready and will take on the Viltrum life so he take Debbie and mark out to a clearing and gives both mark and Debbie the true nature of Viltrum and there plan and his plan starts with killing Debbie to brake all human connection that mark has. He is in not right state of mind as he still is blaming Debbie in his mind for everything. Nolan demands mark to do it. To prepare him for his new life. Mark can’t do so Nolan goes at punching Debbie back into a tree almost shattering her spine. Mark out of rage and fear swings at his father to no effect. Before Nolan can respond at all Cecil’s team comes in open firing at Nolan and mark. Nolan is able to fly off in time but mark is frozen in fear. He runs to his mother now slumped on the grass, her pulse is weak. He back is torn and bleeding from the tree. He cry’s mommy patting her face that stares vacantly out. Mark feels a hand on his back. It’s Cecil. Cecil explains the GDA like it’s the police and that he’s a police officer. Cecil takes make and Debbie’s body away back to the GDA head quarters. Nolan is now up on the moon looking down to earth thinking about he has just done. He thinks back to Debbie and the life she gave him and realizes that he hasn’t been that happy in thousands of years. His cry’s are silenced by the vacuum of space.

Mark won’t leave Cecil’s side at all. He follows Cecil around everywhere or he’s sitting next to his comatose mother. Debbie is hooked up to several machines and there no total chance of recovery. Cecil isn’t sure what should happen to mark there’s conversation of killing mark off because of his father and they aren’t sure that the Viltrum mind set is genetic or not. Cecil decides to bank on marks humanity to power through. He personally takes care of mark and brings him in around work so he can adapt to the GDA and how it works. Cecil isn’t the best partner, he exposes mark to many failed missions results, mark is very desensitized now making it easier for Cecil to send mark out on missions. Donald is always around and often takes make out of the room to go play games. Donald disagrees with Cecils approach and offend argues with Cecil more. Mark sees Donald as the person to lean on when he wants to cut away from the GDA. Donald is very kind to mark and is the one who tends to Marks childish antics. Around this time Rex as also been around and Rex and Mark become fast friends. Rex is still his silly goofy self most of the time while Mark is adopting more of Cecil’s seriousness. Mark grows up as a GDAs star agent along with Rex for his support. But Cecil’s impact of them is clear.

Eve is contained in a separate unit after she was also saved by the GDA. Due to her power they kept her in a separate location until she fully mastered her powers. The GDA mostly uses her for materials and medical support as she’s able to now look inside of people and find out what’s wrong with them. Not change there make up but is able to find spots and nerves and what needs to be fixed. She was sent on her first mission around when she was 17 along with Mark and Rex they start off rocky as Eves social skills are lacking but Rex is there and won’t let her be left out of the team. They now all go out to dinners and lunches and work perfectly except for the occasional spat.
