I recently learned weed actually wasn’t that easy to get in the 80s, but I like to imagine Joyce knows some cool people who don’t think (or buy into the rumors but don’t care) she’s crazy and she gets weed from them. I really think Joyce would be a very open-minded person, definitely a hippie in the late 60s. Probably has a couple tattoos her sons didn’t even know about until they’re in their 20s lol. The hc that Byers’ family bonding time is Jonathan and Joyce passing a blunt back and forth while Will does his art at the kitchen table is completely canon to me. And someone else wrote this but I very much believe Joyce has similar music taste to Jonathan and got him into a lot of the alternative and punk artists he loves.

I would love another Slytherin Kalancy moodboard! I mean, I feel strongly about both Nancy and Kali being Slytherin, but if you hc them differently you should definitely do whatever you want!

I’m so glad! Yeah, staloncy is something only me and @assholemurphy started talking about after s2 came out, and since then only two other people I know of have written about it. Stoncy was more popular before s2 came out, and since s2′s release has hardly had any new content, let alone fic. I got into the fandom because of stoncy, in May of last year, it’s what made me want to watch the show, so I was pretty disappointed when it plunged in popularity bc after s2 it pretty much became Steve stans (who primarily ship h*rringrove) and Jancy shippers and polyshipping just went out the window. I don’t ship h*rringrove in the least and you probably saw my post on why I’m not enthusiastic about jancy so I’m just over here in my tiny corner shipping poly ships and kalancy for the most part lol.
