Part 2
Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
There's no need to be afraid of the ghost wasp-- unless you're a bee that is! Also known as the Mam-Burrumurl wasp, this newly discovered species was named for its distinctive 'floating' flight pattern. While they aren't a threat to humans, they can give quite a fright to bees; female ghost wasps lay their eggs inside bee hives, and when the wasp larvae emerge they eat the larvae and eggs of the resident bees.
