well um so hi yāall i have sad news. the baby passed away :( sip little man
:(((((((((((((
he passed away a couple days ago and iāve been crying on and off. he was by far my favorite animal in our facility he was literally so precious and so adorable. i would watch him for hours on our slow days at work.
i know i am on fishblr but if any non-fish people see this i want yāall to know something:
fish are worthy of compassion. a fish may not be able to show you that they love you in a traditional sense but some of us really do feel loved by the animals we take care of. sure it might be anthropomorphism but from my personal experience fish (and iāll extend that to lobsters and even sea stars) have their own distinct personalities and ālikesā and ādislikesā. they are also smarter than we give them credit for (but some are so SO incredibly dumb) and theyāre so full of whimsy and i could go on but yeah anyways fish are underrated and this was my baby.
