My Garnold is deaf, and always has been since birth. He got hearing aids when he was younger but hated how it was just EVERY Sound at once and only wore them when he had to. Fast forward a few years, Clunkr got an appointment for him to get cochlear implants and he was EXCTATIC. After the implants, he was surprised by how noisy the world was. He thought Funbot was broken because he didn't know that the fans inside him that kept him cool made a noise.

Now, I know i said he's a grasshopper mouse, but I just couldn't resist. I can make his dad a grasshopper mouse and his mom a harvest mouse. Best of both worlds.

Also, he lives in a world with living tree's. I believe giant flowers to sleep in aren't that far fetched.
