Making Study Plans: Gantt Chart
Click for better quality
Above are Gantt charts I’ve made to help me plan how and when I’m studying for the AP Euro exam on March 6th. There’s a template on Google Sheets which I tweaked a lot to match my own preferences and needs (e.g. studying on weekends, etc.). I find it better for long term projects or studying that spans weeks rather than a regular planner, because it shows the progression of tasks and you can break tasks up super easily.Â
Big “milestones” and phases of work are broken up/color coded while little tasks broken up
Where boxes are filled in are when I plan to complete those tasks
Weeks and days are kept track of at the top
Column to track completion
Several tasks can be completed in one day or one task can be spread out to several days, depending on the length of the task (though if 1 task takes several days, probably break it up more)
Recurring tasks would be just be added to whenever you plan to complete it - making everything very date and time oriented
This is pretty self-explanatory, I just found it a useful way to plan what I’ll be doing each day, because I was super stressed out on how to organize what I was going to do.
Also, could be helpful in the situation we’re in now maybe? to keep all of us accountable
