As with all of my reviews, I wasn't high at all when I sampled this bud. I like to keep my palette unaffected by smoke and to be completely sober in order to give the best review possible.

The Bud

Appearance - 8/10

The bud itself looked pretty good. The nugs were tight and their trichome coverage was great. Very dense. A little dry.

Smell - 8.5/10

The smell is great, but very mild. It smells like a combination of flowers and mango. It is extremely "fresh" smelling and has notes of citrus and pine. I think it would have been stronger if it wasn't dry.

Taste 8/10

My first hit was a small toke. Just barely burned the bud so I could get more of a vape and less of a burn. The taste was good and clean. A little bit of that "blue"/hash taste that I love so much. I can't say I tasted strawberry at all but that's ok.

Burn - 10/10

The bud burned smooth and evenly. There was no crackling or popping and the entire bowl turned to white ash when I was complete.

High - 10/10

Very clear headed and motivated. Slight body high but not enough to consider myself "stoned," just high, which is exactly what I want. My eyes didn't feel/or look "cashed out" at all which is rare for me.

The Dispensary 

My entire experience at High Country Healing was great. The staff was friendly, the wait was reasonable (especially for Summit County) and they have a nice waiting area; complete with water, puzzles and ski movies to keep the patrons entertained. Their prices are a little high compared to Denver but competitive to everything in Summit County. They also offer a 20% discount to those who live in the Summit county area, which is really nice if you're a local.

Conclusion

All and all, the Strawberry Cough from High Country Healing was really good bud. It's not 1-and-done weed by any means, but it does give a great high. The bud was slightly dry but not completely dried out. I'm sure I'll be back in a few weeks time.
