For Brittany Farmer's RPG setting the Hyperian Empire. This world has always something new and previously unexplored to offer, which makes it such a joy to illustrate. Zhentao has a high tech culture with machines aplenty in everyday affairs, and foreigners eager to buy them to bash their neighbours' heads in with. A racetrack is certainly not something I would've thought of painting by myself, much less one where people ride fusion jet-propelled mechancial animals. Can't quite decide which is my favourite from this set, maybe the temple? Or the fashionista bar. Or the vendor with the mech, after all?

For Brittany Farmer's RPG setting the Hyperian Empire. A military stronghold with a large standing army, Touma employs dragons to help with the forges and rides them into battle, too. I really like how the expression of the fox importer of ores turned out, seeing how expertly his Touman clients inspect her wares. I always have fun designing recognizable cultural dress for all the realms and cities I am illustrating for Hyperion.

For Brittany Farmer's RPG setting the Hyperian Empire. The city of Suravi is a nice, sunny place with arts and restaurants. I would definitely take a trip there and see the hanging gardens - isn't it a fantasy artist's dream to have clients want for hanging gardens? That's how cool my client is. From a personal standpoint, I have to name the still life with herbs as my favourite though, because it is almost entirely rendered in 3D and holds up next to the painted illustrations.

For Brittany Farmer's RPG setting the Hyperian Empire. When illustrating this set, I had become pretty comfortable with using the process of plenty of 3D help. I used to dread scenes with more than one person, so two vendors singing and guitarplaying in their shop of tourist trinkets was out of the question. I am very happy multi-figure setups are no longer such a problem. In the setting, Sakage is a place where anything illegal and be found and done, and still, it's a tourist favourite.
