So my copy of The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince’s “Storybook Edition” made its way to my doorstep yesterday afternoon.
Isn’t its outer sleeve (above) amazing?? O_O
The rest of this package is amazing, too--and that includes the game case, the hardcover storybook, and the soundtrack CD.

I have to ask: Do you actually have the Mother 3 game, and are you playing it? And what game console are you playing Mother 3 on? And is it an English version?
I wish I did. I wish I was. It was originally released for Gameboy Advance, but there is apparently a Wii version out there, somewhere. And the only way to get Mother3 in English is to buy one that’s been translated by Tomato; it has an English translation patch (or something).
It was never officially released outside of Japan and, therefore, has no official translation. (Which is why it’s so funny that Chlaus says he had trouble getting those drugs in Italy and smuggling them out in “Mouse3″ packaging.)

The GB game in question, by the way, is Nangoku Shounen Papuwa-kun: Ganmadan no Yabou. It’s a weird little puzzler made by a company called Daft and published by Enix.
It was released in 1994. Considering it’s based on a popular manga series from the early 1990s, it probably shouldn’t be surprising to hear it never left Japan.
