I have to ask: Do you actually have the Mother 3 game, and are you playing it? And what game console are you playing Mother 3 on? And is it an English version?
I wish I did. I wish I was. It was originally released for Gameboy Advance, but there is apparently a Wii version out there, somewhere. And the only way to get Mother3 in English is to buy one thatâs been translated by Tomato; it has an English translation patch (or something).Â
It was never officially released outside of Japan and, therefore, has no official translation. (Which is why itâs so funny that Chlaus says he had trouble getting those drugs in Italy and smuggling them out in âMouse3âł packaging.)

The GB game in question, by the way, is Nangoku Shounen Papuwa-kun: Ganmadan no Yabou. Itâs a weird little puzzler made by a company called Daft and published by Enix.
It was released in 1994. Considering itâs based on a popular manga series from the early 1990s, it probably shouldnât be surprising to hear it never left Japan.
