Still thinking over the fact that there was the planning of a movie with various tentative titles, such as "The Knight and the Lady", "The Knights of the Round Table", or "King Arthur’s Knights". It would have been released around the 1940's. Moreover, it would have been the first time it featured Gareth and Lynette in animated film.

For instance, this scene as it is described above sounds absolutely hilarious, especially with Merlin helping Gareth in the romance department. The "romantic outing" ends up with Gareth ending up in the pond.

Unfortunately, this scene and many others that would have happened never did. No investors could be found so that the movie could have the proper funding to be made.

It amuses me to no end that in Hervey's Arthurian text, Lynette can't resist throwing a jab at Gareth when she's telling her part of the story. That woman just can't resist insulting him. 😆
