Peter Davison interview at Gally - He started watching with Hartnell right at the beginning. He remembers when it became obvious Hartnell couldn't go on. Peter didn't think anyone else could be the Doctor; Hartnell WAS the Doctor; he was iconic.
So he watched Patrick's first story with trepidation, "and he really won me over," and because of Patrick, he came to love the show even more.

My AA grade princess cut blue sapphires arrived today so I can show off what will be a brand new sterling pendant at Gallifrey One next weekend.
River's Blue Box Diary is such an iconic item in Doctor Who that we just had to make a luxe version of it that River Song would be proud of.
The blue on these sapphires is absolutely stunning and I am so glad I splurged on this grade. I really don't think this pendant would work with a darker blue.

She talked about what she learned from David Tennant and Adeola. She also talked about being proud of how diversity has progressed. She does reflect on the unrequited love story, but also that it was important for audiences to see it, and the story of Martha resonating with what the viewer is going through. It's okay to feel sadness and not get what you want, but you move through it and grow. And as an audience member, I fully agree and think it's so good to see that empowerment.

I went to two Catherine Tate panels at Gallifrey One 2025. She did open mic on the 1st panel and answered queued questions on the 2nd.
On David Tennant:
"What is your most embarrassing moment on set with DT?" - "I can't answer, there are children here!"
"Was DT ever annoying on set?" - "He was lovely, irradiant, kind, brilliant. That's why we complemented each other so well! We're like Yin and Yang"
When asked about Bernard Cribbins she visibly choked up a bit. "He used to do a joke where he'd call me and shout - Who's there? I'd say - Catherine. He'd go - Catherine Tate? Never heard of her!"
