we've got very little information about her before Klaus pressed the Funny Button, only really that she had silver hair (not normally a natural hair colour), with it only being revealed in XC2 that her name is Galea (but Galatea in Japanese, which again associates her with artificially created life)

around XC2 we did learn a bit more about what was going on on Earth before Klaus activated the Conduit, namely in flavour text for model kits that the attack on the Orbital Ring was by the Saviorites (a faction that shares its name in Japanese with the Salvator faction from Xenosaga), which is further reinforced in Future Redeemed bringing up the Saviorite Human Rights bill being scrapped, and Dimitri Yuriev (a major figure in Xenosaga) getting namedropped

the Salvator/Saviorites (or Designer Children) are specifically people created by artificial means on a genetic level, with it being clear based on what we hear in Future Redeemed that they probably weren't being treated with much dignity and were having to fight for human rights protections
