Ah, she was wondering when he’d be returning to the settlement

Irida turned around from feeding her Glaceon, only to be met with a scowling expression, and very, very dirty face being suspended roughly a foot and a half off the ground

Ingo was holding the young survey corps member under her arms, as if she was some kind of cranky little sneasel. He looked... bemused.

“Miss Akari had an... altercation with a swinub, and is in desperate need of bathing” He surmised “I found her wrestling with it bare-handed near Avalugg’s Legacy in the single patch of mud nearby”

Akari said nothing to argue the supposed events, just looking away like a child who wasn’t sorry they got caught stealing sweets.

Irida sighed, though not unfondly “.. The hot springs should be empty at this hour. Let me get her some spare clothes”

The warden simply nodded, turning towards the springs with Akari still in hand as if she’d dash off when placed on the ground. The clan leader heard him grumble as she turned back towards the settlement

“Honestly, you only have the one uniform”

“That swinub was asking for it!” She finally spoke

“It was a swinub. It wasn’t asking for anything”

“It was an alpha swinub!”

“Ah yes. The alpha swinub. truly the most vicious of all of the alphas”

“Don’t mock me!”

“I reserve the right to mock you until you no longer smell like a skuntank”

Irida couldn’t hold back a snort in amusement as she motioned for her Galceon to follow her.
