MFE Pilots reporting for duty ✋ —— So this is the first of many posts about #SacAnime. I had the most amazing time I’ve had in YEARS at a SacAnime. Normally this is more or less a convenience con that I don’t care about other than seeing friends. But this time I actually attended panels, got autographs, did photo ops, and it was so much more enjoyable!! SacAnime has always had some of the BEST guests and this time was no exception. okay, so with Shiro confirmed 25 and Keith turning 18 (or 19?) That gives a general 6-7 difference, which is the first thing that kind of confused me: -Keith rescued Shiro for a reason. He wouldn’t had rescued some random guy that was probably a good ways away from his shack. They had to have known each other. -A few scenes after the rescue, we see Keith meet shiro outside and say “it’s good to have you back” if I remember correctly. -How did they know each other? They aren’t related, at least we don’t think they are, but theoretically they aren’t or one of them probably would have mentioned it. -Theoretically, schools are usually divided into sections, or certain periods of time that you can go, therefore limiting the age gap of the students there. I understand that some colleges allow people older than the usual age frame to get a degree, but the Garrison doesn’t strike me as a college. Also from the few frames we’ve sent, we’ve seen kids that look to be mainly the age group of some kids in highschool. We can assume this wasn’t a college because we have pidge who’s 15, and while she’s very smart, it takes a lot to get into a college. She already got kicked out once, it would be pretty hard to get back into a college under a fake name. We also know that Hunk and Lance are both 17, and that Lance isn’t the brightest so there would be no reason for him to go to college early, therefore deducting that pidge didn’t either and they are all in some sort of highschool. -highschools traditionally have 4 years, again, keeping the age Gap between students, at about 4 years. The acception might with student that have been held back, but we know shiros exceptionally smart. He wouldn’t be held back twice -Shiro was also prepping for the Kerberos mission. That stuff takes YEARS. So how would he have met or known Keith in that time period? Was he just hanging out around the school training for his mission and met Keith? That doesn’t seem logical because he probably wouldn’t have paid him any mind. I know he was THE BEST PILOT, but shiro knows his priorities, he wouldn’t have started to flake out on his Kerberos team for an angsty pilot. -so how the fuck do these two know each other??? Shiro was an important enough person in Keith’s life that he was glad to have him back and went to rescue him from the galra ship.

If anyone recognized the blue fabric we used for Sokka, you’ve got a sharp eye!
