One of the happiest, most exciting things about revisiting trc now is that back when I first read them I wanted to draw every scene but I was lacking the skills to.
And now I’m looking at every dog-eared page, every paragraph I highlighted with a grin on my face, because I can. Cars are no longer a scary thing to draw, I know exactly how I want the characters to look like, and more importantly I know what emotion I want a piece to convey and I feel confident I can convey it.
What a day!! 20 yo me would definitely be gobsmacked and I am living for it
