She wears a taupe Miss Dior beanie; Castlecliff bracelets; and a Koret handbag.

I was surprised that they actually killed Gaines off in the end but love that they did it (and not just because Gaines was a horrible person).
It goes back to the thing I won’t shut up about which is that the ending is absolutely perfect for a show that isn’t guaranteed to get another season but wants to leave possibilities open in the event that they actually do.
Like Gaines dying doesn’t mean all the conflict and issues he created are necessarily gone, there’s a million ways conflict can still be presented in a second season. But his death does leave the watcher with a sense of satisfaction. The feeling of an arc ending. I think it was the perfect choice.

"D&TSL surprise"
GTW train #410 has departed Durand, Michigan mid afternoon, enroute to Toledo, Ohio with 1/2 the Detroit & Toledo Shore Line roster of GP7's up front. The train is seen here on the curve just south of Gaines, this a wonderful surprise from the usual assigned pair of GTW SD40's - April - 1976.

I have introduced Acanthus before, so I want to introduce ALL of my hxh ocs, now complete with nen!
Here is a rundown of their nen:
Acanthus conjures thorns in his hands and has the ability to puncture thorns on an opponent's lungs. Mauve emits cloud of shadows to distract enemies but it's merely a distraction. Shelbie can transmute bubbles that can trap people or objects and even protect herself. Gaines can induce illusions/hallucinations in a person's mind, manipulating their reality as he pleases.

Drawbacks: Acanthus needs contact for it to work. Mauve's ability is just a distraction, not an offense. Shelbie's nen can only trap things and her bubbles are harmless. Gaines's ability depends on the user's mental strength.
