It has the full blown cowboy themed aesthetics of the original issue of the 6120 (brass nut, steer head on the headstock; western cactus, steer head and fence rail inlays; G brand on the lower bout). The body is fully hollow with parallel bracing. #DynaSonic single coil in the bridge. The neck pickup is a #LindyFralin Dogear #P90 to replicate #Gibson P90 Eddie added to achieve a more mellow jazz sound when needed. Hype Gear Alert:  Gretsch G6120 Chet Atkins Hollow Body

I still think Gretsh has some of the best finishes of all time. I'd love to tell you what the finish on this #BrianSetzer #HotRod is called...but I don't know! So...I tried to look this model up on Internets to find the name of the finish...but when I searched the #Gretsch website for the model number (#G6120-BSHR-HGT, which you can see on the label in the f hole if you zoom in enough on this shot...), the search was all like "sorry no results"! I think that means Gretsch did not actually make this #guitar...it MUST be a counterfeit! I mean WHY ELSE would the website tell me there's no model called the thing I typed into the search box even though I READ IT RIGHT OFF THE LABEL STUCK TO THE INSIDE OF THE GUITAR?!? All I wanted to do was look up the name of the finish so I could tell you guys...but no. A simple task ends in utter failure and frustration. I don't even know why I bother sometimes! You ask for something simple from a website and the website sh*ts all over you! OK, rant over.
