G1 Roller MegOp kid AU

At first their was confusion Optimus had been purposely avoiding Megatron. Calls would be picked up by other autobots and when he did get a hold of the Prime the mech refused to participate in any banter. This pissed Megatron off as no one was allowed to ignore him especially his future consort!

He immediately had Soundwave investigate what was going on at the autobot base. Only to get a shock about Primes whereabouts. Pictures and videos of Prime with a little bitlet that looked eerily similar to Megatron. The little sparkling chirped constantly and followed Optimus around like a duckling. Megatron had never seen Optimus show so much joy and love towards someone.

Next was excitement and pride, Megatron had successfully made an heir with Optimus Prime. His perfect plan of whisking Optimus away to become his consort is all coming together. All he has to do is break into the autobot base and grab his heir and mate.

Then there was mild annoyance as Megatron tried to grab his sparkling but the little bitlet got scared and cried for its carrier… seeing Optimus Prime charge at him full of protective carrier bloodlust was terrifying. So maybe he was going to have to take a different approach.

So Megatron tried to bribe the sparkling and Optimus into joining him. He tried multiple gifts like energon sweets and toys. Each one aggressively rejected by Optimus. Megatron even tried serenading the Prime and actually got a laugh out of him so Megatron called that one a win.

Then came the desperation, Megatron had become a daily nuisance for Optimus. The mech just appeares out of now where to claim his love and determination to have Roller (not Megatron’s first choice for a name) and Optimus join him.

It had gone on for so long when Roller learned how to properly form sentences he pointed at Megatron and smiled up at Optimus.

“Sire is silly!”

Optimus looked down at Roller with soft smile. “Yes Sire is a very silly mech.”

Megatron looked at Optimus is shock. “He… knows I’m his sire?”

Optimus’s mask snaps back into place and glares at Megatron. “Of course he knows, not like I could avoid it Roller had been asking who the funny mech was.”

A smug smirk split across Megatron’s faceplate. “Glad to see I left a positive impression on our son.”

Optimus rolled his optics before picking up Roller. “I think we’ve had enough of Sire for today.”

Roller looks at Optimus with big sad optics. “Noooo I want Sire to come with us!”

Another wave of smugness washes over Megatron as he inches closer to Optimus. Who is switched from shock, to annoyance, to somber.

“Oh sweetspark, Sire is a busy mech… he has a whole army to run after all.”

Megatron grab’s Optimus’s waist and pulls him closer. “Then why don’t you come with me?”

A well placed punch to the gut gets Megatron to stumble back. “I think not.”

After that day came a reignited determination to get Prime and his heir to himself. Megatron would win the war against the autobots, take Optimus as his consort, and make Roller the perfect heir!

Then came the eventual relief that now that Roller was old enough to not need to be around Optimus 24/7 Megatron and him could continue their original rendezvous… right?… please Optimus don’t do this to him it’s what he looks forward to at the end of every month!!! Please!!!
