I donβt think I wrote something for chapter two but that part of the story was crucial for you to see the side of Minho, the side that MC failed to see/acknowledge because she was blindly in love with him, as mentioned before he was master manipulator he knows how to play his cards well in order for people around him to bend to his will and give him what he wants and that was proven when MC decided to make things right by talking to him, ask him whatβs going on and prove that what Taehyung told her wasnβt true, that he wasnβt cheating on her and I honestly believe he wouldnβt do that, itβs just Tae shamelessly feeding the two poisonous thoughts so theyβd end up separating so he could pursue MC because he always knew that theyβre the ones meant to be together. she was made for him as he was made for her.
so long story short Minho spilled the truth and told her he knew everything about the abortion and asked her a lot of whys? actually iβd do the same if I was him, even if sheβs not ready itβs just right to let your partner know that youβre having a child together, then you make a decision and let them know that this is what you want to do, what you think is best for you, hiding things like this only feed minds with unpleasant thoughts which made it very easy for Taehyung to plant seeds of doubt by telling the kid might not be Minhoβs thatβs why she didnβt have the heart to tell him of her plans. but surprise surprise if you thought it was such a sweet moment that the lovers reconciled I viewed it as Minho using the opportunity to pin her down and clip her wings, I truly pity her for not having the voice to tell what she truly feels because Minho was comfortable, theyβve been together for so long it only made sense that they marry eventually even if it wasnβt what she wanted, it was so painful to watch her slowly die on the inside, but also frustrating to know that she was also falling for the wrong guy.
she wanted Taehyung probably because he was similar but also different from his twin, he gave her the attention she wanted, he made her feel things she canβt remember getting from her lover, things were wild when they all got together under one roof, everything escalated quickly and the next thing that happened Minho and MC got engaged and it only put more sinister thoughts in Taehyungβs head he didnβt act out immediately but he had plans, MC added fuel to the fire by wanting to know directly from Tae whether he had feelings for her and then everything just went downhill and he was gone the next day (scenario was wild because MC what are you doing honey?? you okay? please stop playing with fire).Β
if youβll re-read from the start youβll know that MC here is equally manipulative in a way because of what sheβs done to Taehyung, sigh everyoneβs just wicked in a sense so here they are MC and Minho back together and planning their wedding and Taehyung found someone new to plaster his broken heart, poor new girl for being dragged into this mess, Tae exactly knew how to push MCβs buttons, time may seem like it wasnβt on his side but it only proved him that his patience even though it was testing him was what he needed and true enough it brought MC to his studio way too many times and waiting for her to go away made her yearn for him more and then they meet again and here goes our MC falling into another trap by Taehyung, she really needs someone to guide her jghaksjdgdfhgkd I was kinda happy that sheβs finally being true to herself and accepting itβs Taehyung she wants and she will get him no matter what even if it means breaking Minho and Yumiβs hearts, but just when you thought everything would go smoothly MC wandered around and saw the photos that proved sheβs been stalked and put two and two together that Taehyungβs feeling were true but also creepy and she needed to get away from him before all hell breaks lose, but unfortunately for her she ran out of time and who know whatβll happen next, idk if sheβll be kept hidden somewhere or if Taehyung would go to Minho and ruin MC then theyβll be together idk there are so many possible scenarios in my head rn but all I know is MC is regretting everything at the moment and if she could go back she would probably never ask for Minhoβs number when he saved her.

I didnβt know what to expect when I clicked the notification that obi posted a new story on ao3, I saw the tags and I knew this would be an interesting story and it was... fuck ~ this scared me so much because jimin was the horror villain I was exactly avoiding for years and years...
so the story starts with Seokjin, Taehyung, and Namjoon (the holy trinity), Jin and Taehyung are officers handling the string of murders happening in their area and Namjoon was MCβs attending psychiatrist she was diagnosed with insomnia, manic depression, and anxiety and she also claims to know whoβs behind the killings that the officers canβt seem to find.
letβs do this quickly (a lie ig hjskafhkjas) since this is a quick read, MC claims that the man behind Min Yoongiβs death was Park Jimin her former lover, she doesnβt have any solid evidence because there wasnβt anything left behind on Yoongiβs apartment but sheβs certain it was Jimin because he took her to his apartment to show her his dead body. all I could think of reading those lines was man this is fucked up, but before the murders happened Jimin was the perfect boyfriend he was all about MC, he was everything a girl could ever ask for, he paid attention and knows everything about her but little did she know that it wasnβt cute that he knows everything, it was creepy, he became obsessed the longer they were together or maybe he was just good at flattering her and hiding his true nature making her see him as a doting boyfriend instead of an obsessed creep who wants her all for himself.
why did Yoongi had to die? because Jimin was right he was romantically (maybe sexually) interested in MC and he wonβt allow him near her, Jimin was crazy for lashing out and and forcing her to show everyone she belonged to him thru public sex - Jimin lost it, he was far too gone, far too obsessed and thatβs when the string of murders started, first off he got rid of Yoongi followed by a few people who meddled with theirΒ βrelationshipβ all of them had to go, no one can ever take her away from Jimin, she belonged to her.
after reading this I have a few questions and theories in my head, we all know that MC was diagnosed with a few mental health problems that could lead to delusions, did Jimin really exist or was he the beast inside her head that kills people who meddles with their relationship? Iβm no expert when it comes to these things but I think this is possible since itβs established that she has a few issues, also, the fact that she said she canβt run away from Jimin because he lives in her nightmares maybe thatβs her trigger? she even told Jin βThatβs how it starts.β when he mentioned that Yoongi exhibited signs of depression and an- (anxiety) and she was suffering from both issues right? also if he was in her nightmares and he could kill everyone like the infamous Freddy Krueger then she must be an innocent bait who canβt escape him even in her dreams ~ but iβm still thinking that MC is the real killer here and if Jimin was actually a real person she must be the obsessed one or maybe he actually died obsessed with her so he got into her head or possessed her, manipulated her even after he left this world (which is a fucking torture man) this will haunt me and I hate it because I canβt help associating Freddy to this story and Iβm scared of him ever since.

tbh I havenβt read a lot of dark-themed stories with Jin as the lead so finding this one on ao3 was definitely a blessing but Iβm ngl this scared me because his mind is filled with dark desires for MC and if youβre an immersive reader like me you will feel torn because you have an idea of how sick his mind is, how sadistic his fantasies are, how stomach-churning his actions were and more yet heβs also someone whoβs part of your life who you wanted to save and protect from loneliness, you were his salvation, youβre the object of his affection but unbeknownst to you this affection he holds for you is the same thing that fuels his desire to own you and end you at the same time.

honestly, CAKE Seokjin is a very interesting character, he is a mystery, how he turned that way weβll never know for it felt like things happened overnight, the bright boy becoming shy and consumed by dark curiosity at a young age. he was also bullied but he never really cared until MC entered his life and it was flipped, he started to smile again, his life much happier with her presence, she was the light of his life oh god Iβm having goosebumps trying to recall every thought Jin had he was sweet and dark at the same time itβs tearing me to pieces.
I had moments where I keep forgetting that heβs got a mad mind because there are times where heβll seem like a normal lovestruck guy until his dark thoughts come crawling back, I enjoyed it whenever they talk/interact, their cute text exchange where both of them were giddy because they like each other but on different levels, Jin was fantasizing about MC because it gives him pleasure (immerse and enjoy his sinful thoughts for MC + their quick dinner date, the walk home, the hug, the kiss, it will make you lose your mind and fall for him in a heartbeat only to take it back because he is insane), and MC was just there thinking of how to respond to his sudden invite the contrast between them is so painfully obvious but again this is Seokjin so he will charm the hell out of you.
this is a really dark on-going series and I believe weβll get to know more about what will happen once the sleepover happens and if Jin will act on his need to have her, take her because she was Godβs gift to him. would God really give him someone like her? I really wanna talk more about this but you know Iβll end up spilling everything and also there are so many possibilities in the future chapters thatβs playing in my head, what if itβs the end or what if she turns the tables and make Jin change his mind? or what if she succumbs to his dark fantasies and be one with him and be the girl heβs always dreamed of, doing anything and everything with him?
if you need a dark Jin story in your life then maybe give this a try, I think it has a lot of potential to be darker than it already is, and Iβm looking forward to the future chapters to see where the author takes us. | πππππ

I think I have developed a priest kink for Park Jimin at this point, I've read one before and it is also sinfully good, I gotta say the summaryΒ βThere is a charm about the forbidden that makes it unspeakably desireableβ - Mark Twain is accurate af, if you fail to sin yourself while reading then there must be something wrong or maybe nothing is wrong because to each their own, anyway, if this isnβt your cup of tea I suggest you skip this one but if youβre open then go ahead and bask into this well-written story that proves the flesh is weak.

now this is mostly in Jiminβs perspective as a priest on how hard he fought not to give in to the desires of his weak flesh, from the moment he laid eyes on her he was already lured into Satanβs trap, she may look like an angel but she reeks of temptation, luring the poor priest into allowing unholy thoughts brew in his mind. this focuses on aboutΒ 3/4 of Jiminβs struggle and fight against his carnal desires, it doesnβt help at all that sheβs so innocent and always kind towards him which makes him weak because part of him aches to dominate her, he shouldnβt think of dirty thoughts but heβs only human, a mortal capable of committing sins even if he already committed himself into serving and giving his life to God. this might feel a little dragging to some but we got to remember their roles in the catholic community and the holy house they live in, fast forward to a few events to the beach where his lust grew tenfold, the confession that made him want to know more about her own secrets, her clandestine dreams she carefully shared as guilt was equally eating her away.Β
all prayers are heard, right? but what if one night the Lord decided to test you and let you use your own will to do what is right but ended up doing what feels right? Jimin, his words, his pleas, his prayers falling from his lips were useless he was like a madman going crazy because his thoughts were wrong, she shouldβve been nothing but his child, a child he should be protecting and nurturing with Godβs words and love, but instead Satan won and placed them inside the Chapel to mock the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Jimin turned into a man possessed with want begging for the truth, begging for him to be the one and when she ultimately gave in to confessing to the Father of her unholy dreams and lust just like that Jimin gave in to the pleas of their flesh, he drank every part of her (not spoiling all the smutty goodness *wink*wink*), the sacrilegious and sinful smut here is something you should read with feels and use your head to imagine the perfect altar fucking scenario, what they did was wrong on all levels but it hurt to see them fall for each other even if most of what provoked them was their lust, they are clearly whipped and would want a normal life, maybe have her as his wife and have kids of their own but not in this one, for she was a temptress and he made a vow to serve God all his life, maybe this was just a taste of what couldβve been although we donβt know what happens after the betrayal heβs done to the Lord, he may keep going and keep on sinning or repent for his sins all his life.Β | πππππ
