“well then, that’s why you should come home soon enough.” tiffany unlocks the door to their joint apartment, jumping slightly as a small pup shows up at her feet. “god, i’m still not used to having you around!” she speaks excitedly as she closes the door behind her, quickly bending down to set her handbag aside and pick up zero. “look, even he wants you to get here soon. don’t you?” holding up the phone, tiffany can’t help but glance away momentarily as the dog licks her face almost as if greeting her; adorable. “do you need me to go pick you up, boo? oh, look! i completely forgot, i got you these earlier.” hiding behind a small jar of white roses, tiffany shows off what she’d been up to - because of course, she is always up to something. “do you like them? they smell really nice.”

“Just because this business went from one sister to another, it doesn’t mean that I lose my right to the money you own. You’re in my territory, so if you want to have bread at the table everyday and to be able to not worry about hospital bills, you better pay sweet cheeks. I didn’t come on here on propose to get another no as an answer.” Hwasa’s nostrils flared as she inhaled deeply and glared at the other, despite how easy on the eye the girl was. She had been having some business with the other that had left the apparently family business pub of theirs, but even when knowing that this girl could perhaps have nothing to do with whatever her sister had done, she kept on bothering. Well, she couldn’t say that that was perhaps the only reason she kept on coming back, but receiving her money bit by bit or at least seeing the other get all worked up was worth every trip.

As the brown haired girl quickly turned the corner while looking back, she bumped into someone, barely catching herself on the corner of the brick building. “Shit!” Bailey hissed, nursing her left shoulder slightly. “Sorry... are you okay?” The grey hood from the sweatshirt underneath her moto jacket fell, revealing underneath a pair of bright green eyes and a cut bleeding cheek. Her jaw was throbbing and it was definitely gonna bruise.

“Only fools and trouble come out to these parts at this hour..” Bailey eyed the other skeptically. “So.. what are you doing out here?” Hearing sudden commotion down the street she’d just came through, she glanced around the corner, lightly grabbing their arm as her eyes lit up with fire and fear. “You need to out of here. We both do.” 

      ❛ What is this ? It's delicious .. ❜ She hums under her breath , glancing towards Greyson with a smile. ❛ Honestly ... I think I eat too much take out. I've forgotten how good real food is. ❜

“Yah!” Jaechan whined, it was like everything he was saying was bothering the other person and he couldn’t understand why. “Tell me what happened today for you to be like this with me! You keep arguing everything I say…”

selene was in her office watching a variety show with her favorite idols doing ridiculous things and games. it was a good past time for her as she didn’t really want to bother with work that day. that was why she had a manager in the first place. when the manager arrived to let her know that the painting selene bought, she sold it at a gallery and made profit out of it the demi goddess stared at the other in shock. “woah... then you earned me more money finally? sweet~ anything else?” 

                 Nana hated hospitals, the smell of everything being so sterile and clean just reminded her about her past she was trying to escape from. The only reasons she was brought near one was due to the fact the food pantry was all out of hygiene products, and so were the shelters. Usually she’d get a little basket of things like socks, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and because she was a female usually the basket also included pads. Currently she was left without any of those, so she was directed to the free clinic. 

Usually one would be grateful that such a think exists, but due to her past, the smells, the noise, and even the sight of it brought back horrible memories. Staring at the free clinic she can’t force herself to go in, she just stares at it contemplating how much did she actually smell? How dirty was her hair? Did she really need to go and get the hygiene products or could she wait until either the shelters or the pantries have more? They were out for an indefinite amount of time though. 

The closest Nana gets to entering the building is pacing back and forth in front of the doors, going the entire length of the building. Scratching at her arms she finds it stupid that she can’t go in, stupid because it’s not anyone from her past would be in there right? The more she thought about it, the more she convinces herself that it’s a bad idea, that what if there was someone from her past in there? Panic starting to ensue she tries to make an escape, though really there’s nothing chasing her, so she thought.

Supernatural beings had always been a myth to the female as she grew up. Never did she think there was something inhuman about herself, not even when it appeared that she never got sick. And perhaps it was naive, but not even when she had died the first time and ‘woke up’ in a morgue. It was really only until she met Hyunjae and then Hyemin afterwards that she rolled into the world of the supernatural and started to question her own humanity. Never would she have expected to be a phoenix. One that could rise from the ashes and basically cheat death.
