SCAM presents: See Feel Touch Die
Amazing music from ICELAND
SCAM explores these themes through a hypnotic yet playful bassline, tight percussion and modular flares.
SCAM, the electro-pop project of Icelandic composers and music producers Herdís Stefánsdóttir and Salka Valsdóttir that got booked for Roskilde Festival after their debut live show at Iceland Airwaves last year, are set to release their second single, "See Feel Touch Die," on June 10th. It expands on the template established on their electric debut single, "Mentally Gone."
The song was written during a series of earthquakes in Iceland that caused the musicians to feel uneasy but also strangely excited. These feelings ultimately led them to write "See Feel Touch Die," a song that feels both ritualistic, suspenseful and exciting: a testament to the relentlessness of mother nature in both her repetition and unpredictability.

For some reason a lot of the time futurepop is the easiest genre for me to transcribe lyrics of by ear; probably I listen to it a little bit more than other genres and also transcribe it the most (since songs are more likely to be obscure and no one else has transcribed them so far) so I just wired myself to the genre's particular vocal conventions. Except for when it's one of those artists that distorts their voice to inaudibility and buries it under a landslide of 7 layers of industrial detritus. Sir why are you a Wiimote sound effect
Imagine a hypothetical sentence so constructively flawless that everyone on Earth would agree with it, but it is in a language that doesn't exist and never will. Now imagine if Massive Attack was EBM https://mend.bandcamp.com/track/liquid
OOOH I LIKE STRANGERS THE MOST SO FAR. I am seriously a stereotype of myself
