Good things come for those who wait!
Love is Better The Second Time Around makes a comeback with season 2! And audiences better buckle up because they are teasing one of the most dreaded plotlines ever:
Set two years after the events of the first season, the story reunites Miyata and Iwanaga in the second year of their life together. After a long journey, they have finally found the ideal relationship they had always been searching for and are enjoying their happiness. Yet while Miyata feels that the distance between them has never been smaller, he also realizes there is still so much he doesn’t know about Iwanaga. “I don’t really want to talk about my past lovers” — Iwanaga’s words, along with the “unfamiliar past” that surfaces behind his casual words and gestures, kept tugging at Miyata’s heart. Amidst this, Iwanaga confessed in a magazine interview, “I’ve found someone important.” The confession prompts Iwanaga’s ex-boyfriends to reappear, quietly shaking the foundation of the couple’s second chance at love. “I love you, that’s why I’m jealous.” The most futile yet endearing storm of “jealousy” in human history! “You’re the only one I want to be with right now”—even though he wants to believe those sincere words, he can’t shake a sense of unease. Right beside their seemingly fulfilling relationship, his heart begins to waver quietly. Their “second love” is put to the test once again—!
Makoto and Robin will attend a fan event set for late August which will have an advanced screening of the first episode of the new season. This actually marks the first fanmeeting for the duo in their home country, they already held events in South Korea and Thailand during the marketing run for the first season.
Yasukawa Yuka who directed season 1 returns as well.
Premieres September 1!
