It's amazing how one find can change your view on a project. When I made these "red deer" antlers the design was so wrong I didn't know what to do with them, so I practiced a few spray painting ideas on them and had even less clue what to do! I didn't know if I should just leave them till another day, paint them again or just scrap them all together, so I put them to one side to decide at a layer date when I had the time to dot down and think about it properly. Then I found this beautiful green to yellow gradient fur in @abakhan_manchester and I knew exactly what I wanted to happen!
