sometimes it's hard acknowledging that locals just don't take any interest in you

I love my cat but god damn is he a dork.  He drops food into his water, and what does he do?  Instead of ignoring it, he tries to eat it.  It went to the edge of the bowl, and still he tried to eat it.  He then spent three minutes snorting water and patting in frustration at the water's surface to get this one piece of kibble until I came over to get it out.  Does he eat it then?  No.  This little jerk, who flung water at my foot while I was on the toilet in pursuit of this freaking singular bit of food despite the rest of his food bowl being full, walks off, turns his back to me, and plopps his furry butt on the ground and slumps his shoulders like he's sulking 'cause mommy had to step in and help him.  Freaking dork.
