HAPPY HALLOWEEN!~👻
(@notgoingbacktomystage thanks for asking!~ have a spooky night!)
~Hey BON BON who wants to give the kiddies a surpriiise!~
FNAF rant (warning: gruesome themes)
Hey guys!
So…I really hate the game Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Please, before you play it yourself or let your child play it please read this rant because it could be really helpful and it’s serious.
This game on the outside seems pretty innocent. You have a teddy bear as the main character & all you have to do is just survive animatronics, right?
Wrong. There are horrible and gruesome backstories associated with the game. The backstories are more than just “an experiment gone wrong”.
I was thinking of playing this game myself, so I did some research as I always do before I start watching/playing something. When I saw the backstory I was shocked and I was actually sweating while reading it because it was so awful.
If you want to have a look, here are all the backstories for each game: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Nights_at_Freddy’s_(series)
Go onto the “Video games” section/tab and you should see all the backstories. I would also suggest looking at the rest of the wikipedia page for even more info and then maybe reading the rest of this post later so you know what I’m talking about.
So, first off a major problem is that in this game there’s a very worryingly thin line between reality and fantasy. How would kids be able to understand that? This game has animatronics being possessed and if kids realise that’s fantasy they might also think the kidnapping part can’t happen. It desensitises them to real danger and they could start thinking that stuff is okay.
Another thing that is a problem is that one of the games is set in a child’s house and bedroom. It would be absolutely awful if a kid became scared of their own home because in the game the animatronics are peeking through the wardrobes and stuff. It doesn’t even have to be a kid, it could be someone that has a big imagination.
This game is kind of advertised for kids when it should be 18+ (if you saw all the backstories you’d know why). On most sites I’ve seen the rating as under 12 MIGHT be scared. Seriously? It really should be 18+.
Another problem is that this game gives psychopaths ideas and teaches them how to do bad things.
They say with anything unholy, that it gets worse as it goes along. Before you realise, it’s too late and that’s what FNAF is like because the backstories and animatronics get worse each game so if you’re a Christian like me I’d definitely stay away from it.
They say the backstories don’t really show in the game BUT the fact that those horrid backstories are associated with it means that whoever’s playing it will likely find out somehow. They also say there’s no blood but there really is because in one of the games if you die red appears across the screen which looks like blood.
In one of the games if you complete the game but don’t complete the minigames four or five animatronics with glowing eyes appear on screen saying that they’re still possessed which would be really traumatic for the person playing it.
Something not mentioned is the bite of ‘87 which apparently an animatronic bites a kid’s frontal lobe off. I don’t know if that is the same story as the one with the little boy being pranked and getting his skull crushed by the animatronic just worded differently but I thought I’d mention it anyway.
It worries me that this game is becoming so popular. They’ll be releasing a live action movie (I assume acting out the backstories).
Anyway, I hope you got my point and looked at the backstories on the link I attached so you know what I’m talking about.
Have a nice day/evening! ❤️
- Rosalie xoxo

malfunction: a yenndo/funtime fredbear fanfiction
hey guys!! i realized i never got to share what my exact thoughts on yenndos story are, and how i think he mightve been funtime fredbear, so i ended up writing a little fanfiction! its entirely from fredbears perspective, so it might be a little weird to get used to it at first since it starts off as technical ai stuff, but it gets pretty accessible down the road i think!!
hope you like!! <33
I LOVE HIM SO MUCH WHAT THE HECK
There's a generally negative vibe going round the crew. Maby its time for a democracy?
