Well, I just posted Ch1 Page 8 on Tapas, though that’s an older page that’s already been posted to tumblr. I assume you mean Ch1 Page 17? I’m planning on posting page 17 to tumblr this Sunday, but probably not sooner than that (I’m trying to stick to a Sunday weekly schedule). I have a super busy schedule for the next couple weeks, unfortunately, which means I might not get a chance to work on more pages as much as I’d like :’( (or at all D’:)
However, since I’ve already finished page 17, I’d say it’s safe to say it’ll probably be posted this Sunday :)

It so wonderful to meet another LotR nerd! I mean there are literally millions of us, but it is always so wonderful to meet another one. If you had the chance to meet Professor Tolkien, and had the chance to ask him a question, what would it be?

If I could pose one question to Professor Tolkien, it would probably be “What happened to the Ent Wives”, to which he would probably give no satisfactory answer, knowing what he thought of that question, haha ;)
But actually, I think I wouldn’t ask too many questions. I think I’d just like to go on a walk with him in nature, and talk about whatever, or nothing at all. Or sit and drink tea in silence and just enjoy the scenery :)
But most of all I wish I could have had a chance to sit in on one of his classes.
I am enjoying this new fic you started, and I am really interested to see where it goes. I am really enjoying this power dynamic between Hiccup, and Astrid, and I am really interested in seeing how their relationship, or lack there of, plays out. If I had one critism though, I am a little concerned that the Yorvani. What I mean is that Hiccup is too easily put on the defensive when he is talking to Cami and Heather. (Though he is a prisoner, which could explain it) I do like this fic Thank you!

It’s true, Hiccup is often put on the defensive around them. This is because he’s feeling frustrated, angry, helpless, and powerless, and these feelings are not making him feel very good. He desperately wants to help his people and father regain what they have lost, and he wants to gain some control of his own life and over his current situation. You’ll have to wait and see if he succeeds ;)
