Idk if this is common knowledge in the fandom or not, but I might have a plausible reason as to why Geronimo seems thinner in the newer books (and not just because of stylistic choice).

See, old Nori was really into reading the blog posts on the Geronimo Stilton website a year or two ago, and achieved so by using deepl translator to translate the italian words to english - pretty cool website, btw.

And after reading through several blog posts, Nori stumbled upon a post that had a mini story in it - detailing about how Geronimo's family essentially hired a personal trainer to keep him in shape, and he (VERY reluctantly) accepted his fate.

Through this, I connected the dots and just assume that THIS was why his modern self is thinner! Good for him <3 (even if I do miss chubby Geronimo)

Although I cannot pin point which post it was anymore, it should still be up there! Heheheh the more y'all know.
