alsooo i love this color scheme i gave her here, i should draw a rendered drawing of her like this

it's Friday and I'm thinking about her so I'm copying @bubblerise's Sumire Sunday and I'll try to think of something for next week

Maiko (apprentice geisha) Fukiko, on the left, in a shibori (tie-dyed) kimono decorated with shi-shi (lion dogs) playing amid botan (tree peonies) with shippō (symbolic Buddhist treasures) and temari (thread balls). Together with another maiko wearing a kimono decorated with korin kiku (korin-style chrysanthemums).

I was ahead, and now I’m behind, but it was worth it. I really like how this piece and drabble came out for @jateshi creation challenge, and I feel like as a standalone it can be pretty understood even without knowledge of the media vuv
