you never mention the siege, you never mention the occupation, you never mention the bombs, the genocide, the racism and apartheid, the destruction, the stealing of land and homes, the violent settlements, the oppression—all the reasons why Hamas exists in the first place. Hamas exists because Israel is occupying and destroying. Yet all you mention is Hamas, and that isn’t solidarity with Palestinians.

If you can’t mention Israel’s illegal occupation and genocide when talking about the suffering of Gazans, you’re not calling for freedom, you’re covering up occupation.
