King Adora of Camelot and Queen C’yra of Halfmoon from my fix ‘For the Love of a Princess’ (x)

As it is, the spot that it's currently resting on isn't such a bad one. It's not that every problem is solved there, but I'd say it's a good resting place, no evil cliffhanger or anything, and, yeah, even a happy ending in certain ways. So you should be good. 😊

But trying to get back into it right now is also daunting, with how much I'll have to read back and what my notes say. And at this point in my life, I do not feel up to giving it the attention it deserves.

In a hurry, Astrid dismounted, tearing at the cords that kept her dress close almost before her feet hit the ground. Ruff, with a disgruntled expression on her face, helped her pull it off and then handed her the clothes she’d found for Astrid in some old chest. A warm woollen shirt dyed deep red, dark blue tights of the same material. Bracers of leather and fur, tied around her forearms with leather strings. A fur-lined hood and iron shoulder pads, fur-lined boots. A skirt of studded leather straps that reached just to her knees. Especially that last item had made her blush and pale at the same time as Ruff had shown it to her, but by now, she was less anxious about this outfit. From what she’d seen of the women living in these parts of the Kingdom, clothes like these seemed rather common.

Let’s see whether I can repeat that. Wish me luck. 😁

Like, wow, there is so much going on and I’m having a blast experiencing it all again.
