a long overdue charming reunion âĄ
âstop shoving me chuck!â
leaning against the frame of the french airbnb theyre currently renting for the trip, she canât help but laugh at the petty squabble unfolding before her. all three of her brothers were tall, even for royalty, and attempting to squeeze onto a notoriously small french balcony was more than hilarious to her.Â
âiâm not shoving you, ollie, iâm trying not suffocate in jasonâs stench!â
with a flourish, one she knows he is putting on sorely for her own amusement, the soccer superstar reaches to slap the future king, pushing his face away from his own so that he flounders back only a centimetre. eloise knows full well that with the right force one, or all three, of them could topple right over the edge. she thinks she has enough faith to trust it wonât happen.
âmy stench? at least i shower daily!â
his tone is incredulous and again, eloise canât help but laugh at the entirely terrible, absolutely ridiculous conversation she steps away from. it had been so long since they had been under the same roof together, like this, and even longer since it had just been the four of them.Â
âtell me again why i agreed to this impromptu reunion?â
for the first time in ten minutes, she voices the question. almost as if a switched had been turned, all three heads turn her way. jason softens into a smile; half shrugging in an answer. olivier pushes his tongue into his cheek, as if in deep thought, all the while charles, the brother she had always thought she was the most distant from, reaches his hand out for her to take. she does so with enthusiasm, stepping between him and jason.Â
âbecause, my dear sister, you are to be married in a few days. youâll no long be a charming but a villers. and, with advanced permission from both harry and our mother, we are going to make you regret that very decisionâ
sheâs frowns. no one knew they were planning to elope--only their respective parents. they were to have a big wedding, of course, she could never quite pass that up, but no one knew the small chateau she had chosen to share their vows. slowly, the realisation crawls but their smiles already tell her that no matter what she says, the choise has already been made.
âno. there is no way i am letting you guys take me on whatever attempt this is on a bachelorette weekendâ Â
