A traditional Frutti di Mare pasta dish with shrimp, mussels, clams, and squid in a tasty seafood sauce and served over spaghetti that is still al dente. It's a great choice for seafood lovers and looks great for dinner.
Ingredients: 400g spaghetti. 300g mixed seafood shrimp, mussels, clams, squid. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 small onion, finely chopped. 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil. 1/2 cup dry white wine. 1 can 400g diced tomatoes. 2 tablespoons tomato paste. 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, saut until fragrant and translucent. Add mixed seafood to the skillet, cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly opaque. Pour in white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes until seafood is fully cooked and flavors are well combined. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet, toss well with the seafood sauce until evenly coated. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!
