Nikka Blend Whisky From the Barrel
Nikka From the Barrel is a blended whisky consisting of over 100 different malt and grain whiskies. These are sourced from the two Nikka distilleries: Yoichi (on Hokkaido) and Miyagikyo (near Sendai). The highlight: after blending, the whisky is married again in barrels – a practice that gives it additional depth and harmony. Hence the name: “From the Barrel” – not directly after the first blending, but after a maturation period as a blend.
