I’ve appeared to ask about inheritance!! ^^ ~Ry/Foxy
SWAG Inheritance is the main writing project I've been working on!! It's a series of novels, An Unwanted Inheritance is the first one and the one I talk about the most. The main plotline is the main character Armani, an autistic boy with PTSD-induced amnesia, loses his mom. A year later, a stranger shows up in his hometown whom he's sure is affiliated with her disappearance. During all this, he's going to a school which specializes in Faren practices (magic), and encounters all the other shenanigans that come with going to a new school and not q u i t e knowing how to socialize normally. Almost all the characters are queer, nd, disabled, poc, or multiple at once. The story focuses on themes of imperialism, alternate history, and personal identity, mainly by proxy through the Fae. The magic system is... accidentally very complex! Essentially, Faren is a substance that exists in all things, and can be harnessed to make neat things happen! Humans have some of it in their body, but the Fae are entirely made of it. [spoilers under the cut]

I thought it would be fun to draw one if my characters with a random outfit, but it turned out to be frustrating because there is practically NO masc cottagecore stuff out there. I do like how it came out, though!

I like adding on details for characters like stickers on my computer. Which is to say, excessively.
Yeah, Armani? He's aroace and maybe homo tertiary. His mom told him he was the messiah one time. He likes mushrooms. Cutting his hair? Can't stand it. Has a well maintained undercut anyway to hide one of the many curses he's under anyway. Only wears a super specific color palette or else he'll Cry (tm). His dad owns a definitely legal magic shop. He plays like three instruments poorly. His mom is one of the most respected scientists in the country and he's very normal about it. Has an undying craving for shrimp. Hates socks that are at all long. Handwriting is so terrible it gets mistaken for shorthand a few times. Best friends with a literal prophet. Buys him stuffed animals regularly. Has like fifty unfinished but definitely being used notebooks at one time. He's even NON BINEY

Are any of you guys into soft post apocalyptic media focused on the concept of the self enough to help me proofread a story about a robot and its neat lil terrarium? There’s nothing particularly triggering about it that I can think of to warn people before I ask their help, though there are themes of not being a person and what it means to be a person. It’s about 4.7k words, for scale.
