the love of my life turned 26 today! so to celebrate I made him a cake (yellow + cherry pie filling, buttercream frosting) and decorated the apartment. I donโt have any cake decorating tools so I used a ziplock bag to make all the lily pads and melty frogs. I looooove getting to bake (not bad for my first cake!) and Iโm grateful my partner loves it as well. :)

Well, it's maybe back to the drawing board with this one. My first attempt at a birthday cake frog! He is very grumpy. I have some more ideas for my next attempt, but this one felt funny enough to share. Though some people on instagram were fans, so maybe I'll keep it as a variation, who knows.
