Fried barley. Like fried rice. I made it the same way but it tastes so different! Different texture too! Try it — use any whole grain. I used barley because it’s a traditional ingredient for Tu B’Shevat, a Jewish holiday that is all about produce (it’s also called new year of the trees and starts at sundown on January 16). As for food — Tu B’Shevat is a celebration of fruits, vegetables and nuts. Can’t go wrong with that! This recipe is in the profile and on my blog. Flexible — add nuts, change the vegetables. It’s good in many ways, just like fried rice. #barley #friedbarley #tubshevat #tubshevat2022 #newyearofthetrees #wholegrain #wholegrains https://www.instagram.com/p/CYuM6-mL7zq/?utm_medium=tumblr
