how did Tiresias daughters reacted when Tiresias returned to be a man? like, dude, imagine the mother that you have been living the rest of your life was actually a man :"v I need to know, It must have been so anwkard

I feel like Manto and Daphne didn't really notice anything different at first, running up to Tiresias like normal. Historis, the eldest, knew something changed but also knew that that's still her mother.

After Tiresias explained, ofc the husband was enraged believing he'd been lied to for all those years. The daughters were mostly confused at what to feel. Manto being about 4 at the time was very confused at why everyone was having negative feelings.

Mudwings: Scales can be anywhere from Fawn and Cream to Almost-Black browns. Oranges, Reds, Browns, Greys, Greens and Blues are very normal. Fire/Ice/Mind-Proof Mudwings may have a slight crystalline or red hue.

Skywings: Any Warm Colour Goes. Brighter scales are seen as having hotter fire and a more passionate personality, making them the beauty standard. Rarely, blue or grey skywings may be spotted.

Icewings: Incredibly pale colours of any hue, more saturated hues of cold colours or greys. Brown scales seem to be decently common but are seen as unattractive and unconformist.

Sandwings: Any Colour sand can be! We're talkin your standard beige, yellow, cream, brown and red, but also white, pink, black, green and grey. Sandwings are also very to have cold colour accents and funky patterns.

Nightwings: Any colour as long as its dark.

Rainwings: Go crazy go stupid. Rainwings are all hatched with different shades of green scales.

Seawings: Any colour or combination. Blue and Green are the most common though, and blue seawings are seen as the beauty standard. Rarely, seawings can be iridescent.

Leafwings: Greens, Yellows, Oranges and Reds with great variety in accent colours.

Hivewings: Any colour. Though the black and yellow hivewing is the beauty ideal and the most iconic hivewing colour, those with those coloured scales are rather rare. Most hivewings are brown, black or red. Hivewings are the most likely to be iridescent.

These are mostly based off of my designs for the voices (silly little anthropomorphic corvids - each a different species with a different accessory) But i thought they were too fun not to share :]

Now, in some particular order:

Genuinely theres so much you can do with a whole bunch of siblings that are intrinsically tied together by biological and societal constructs. Theres so many different kinds of sibling dynamics, so many different ways you can spin having [whats essentially] twins to sextuplets, its practically free real estate. Tell me about the siblings that are so close knit they practically have their own language, siblings where there is a power struggle over who gets to claim bigwings, siblings who want to go their own seperate ways without eachother and get judged for it, massive crime families of different batches of half siblings essentially creating the mudwing mafia, sibling groups with that one sibling they dont talk about, identical sextuplet siblings struggling with their own identity, and so much more What would it take to estrange another sibling? To be trapped in a abusive sib group and risk being ostrised for leaving it? How would a society that glorfies familial bonds take to an only child or last remaining sibling of a group? Would a bigwings be punished for the actions a different sibling commited?

What makes her later arcs attempts at actually worldbuilding feel hollow and poorly tacked on to me is that they're trying to stand on a flimsy at best, nonexistent at worst foundation.

Arc 1 worked as a standalone story with nothing worldbuilding due to its focus on story progression and present circumstances, with sheltered protagonists who are learning about the world for the first time.
