Today Fate seemed to have its way with me. On the first of June, a Saturday, I coincidentally had the day off. Planning on have a date day my boyfriend and I made our way to Grand Haven Beach. My sister, who I haven't seen since she left with her new boyfriend for the states, came to join us. Our date day unexpectedly turned into a double date day. Wearing our HollisterCo outfits with our aviator/stylized sunglasses we painted downtown Grand Haven and their beach. The water is still cold here, but the sand was warm. From flashes of old men genitals to annoying longboarders on the boardwalk we enjoyed the cloudy sunshine. 

For dinner we have Fricano's pizza. Dubbed the best pizza in Michigan they pleasantly met my expectations. Even without a thicker crust, limited choices, and no parmesan; the thin crusted pizza still tasted amazing.

I had Get The Scoops Ice Cream (located on 68th street) for the first time and with affordable prices I enjoyed a baby size waffle cone of cheesecake. Although, I wouldn't call it a baby size. 

I could go on being a critic, but the points I want to hit here are how amazing this cloudy, sun shining, summer day was. Limited drama but still a happy ending to a happy day.

Aside from my terrifying drive home. Rain was coming down so hard I couldn't see thirty feet in front of me.

But that's a story for another time.
