Also Me: What if i write Freya and Arthur being prisoned in the same cave. They don't know eo except they both play major political roles in the current war of the realm between Gawant and Essetir. Camelot supports Essetir. Gawant is supported by the Dragonlords.

Freya, the Intended of Merlin Emrys, who is the sworn heir of the Dragonlords is kidnapped by King Uther Pendragon's decree to tip the scales of the war. Crown Prince Arthur, in a desperate attempt to avoid Camelot's involvement in the war, rides toward where she's kept to free her. Meanwhile, his sister, Princess Morgana is to reach the castle and talk Uther out of this madness. Yet, when Arthur arrives, he is shackled immediately.

Arthur learns Camelot is invaded by the Dragonlords and Uther Pendragon is dead. There is no word of his sister, Princess Morgana.

Cenred, King of Essetir, had bribed the torturer Alator to work for him. Now both Arthur and Freya are the prisoners of a madman desperate to win a war.

Alator tortures them one by one. They both remain quiet. Freya believes news are lie and Arthur is a mole to make her talk. Arthur believes Merlin killed his entire family and if he somehow manages to free himself he will have to kill this innocent woman with fierce eyes.

Meanwhile Morgana is the one to kill Uther and she works with Merlin to find both his wife and her brother.

I love them SO much! Their relationship was built up so nicely, and they love each other so much. Trope-wise, they're an amazing mix of chivalric/courtly love and modern love stories, because there's pining and forbidden love but they're also friends

While I don't love them quite as much as arwen (mainly because there's just so little of them), I do love them quite a bit. Despite their relationship developing fast, they make sense together (and their scene in The Coming of Arthur made me emotional ngl)
