Proudly (and happily) a PLEK free workshop. I get it, machines are great at doing things, zero tolerance and blah blah blah, but really honestly, I'd hate to live in a world where machines do everything. I'm not anti tech, I LOVE tech, but I'm not for having machines doing jobs that people do with care, love, and skill. I think I would go bananas if the job that I love, suddenly turned into me pushing buttons and making sure a machine was doing the things correctly, it sounds like a nightmare. On a large factory scale, I can to some degree understand why a PLEK is used, I don't agree with it, just like I don't totally agree with CNC bodies and necks being churned out, but I understand it. In a repair shop setting (which I'm seeing more and more of, hence my Luddite tinged ramblings), nope, I don't want anything to do with it. * Custom feliratú régi japán Rickenbacker kópia volt nálam egy komolyabb bundsíkolásos beállításon. A nyakszög, mint tegnap láthattátok, nem volt épp megfelelő. A hangszedők hangja egyébként emlékeim szerint nagyon jól megközelíti az eredetiét, sajnos a lemez húrtartót is hűen átvették. * Custom labeled old japanese Rickenbacker copy. It needed a serious setup with fret leveling, since the neck angle was far from best, as you could have seen it yesterday. * A szlovákiai Soller Telecasterén a bundokat tettem rendbe. A hangszer Kent Armstrong hangszedőkkel, és soros kapcsolásra is képes elektronikával nagyon dögös gitár. * I leveled the frets on this Telecaster made by the slovakian Soller. Apparently the fret leveling file on the right is not perfectly flat, resulting in my fretrocker still rocking crazy. Back to square one. Let’s try this sanding beam.
