Yesterday I popped into @therockhouseantiques .. while looking around I saw this little porcelain Jonquil ($40.00) in this rather harsh little gold basket..I almost bought it then but thought “I really don’t need it”.. passed it up..I thought about it several times during the day yesterday ..I had to run back over this morning to get pillows for a client and yep!.. I bought this little thing..came home, lined my Old Paris Porcelain reticulated compote with fresh mountain moss to hide the gold basket, added a fern and a Lichen twig plus broke another twig into thirds and jumbled it all together and it turned out rather delightful ..took me all of about 5 minutes to wiggle it all in the compote..often times what seems a tad tacky or harsh just needs a bit of TLC! #deborahgibsondesign #oldparisporcelain #porcelainflowers #therockhouseantiques #tlc #jonquils #freshmoss #lichentwigs (at Greenville, South Carolina)
