polos are generally just used to protect a horses legs. Some people just slap them on as an accessory in which they are usually not wrapped correctly which can cause injury to the horse.

What's your opinion on appaloosas as a breed? I've been considering getting one as my first horse (when I have the space and funds to care for it properly), and I hear they're fairly level headed and sensible as a general rule.
i call them spookaloosas for shits and giggles. I actually haven’t had many experiences with Appies, I always wanted one as a kid though. The occasional few we have worked on at work haven’t been the best to be worked on, very flighty and sensitive when it comes to needles (common in horses that are color bred though) I rode one for years named Spice who was incredibly difficult to handle for a lesson horse haha I think it just depends on the horse and how it’s been handled, much like Arabs and other breeds.
What are your thoughts on endurance/competitive trail riding? And also, do you ever trail ride your horses? Does surfdini still shred some rad waves?
I want to do trails and endurance on Oakley and Houdini, Lily isnt a trail type, she’s a princess. Surfdini catches the waves every Tuesday 😉🏄
