Meaning : a group
Example : Cette bande de copains est unie.=> This band of friends is united.
Other meanings : a strip, a band, a gang, a tape (music or video).
⚠️When you see the expression "bande de ...", used alone, it is an insult. So, use it carefully. e.g. Bande de cochons =bunch of pigs.
Also, remember that une bande #bander ( which can mean to have an erection 😀 ). So do not mix them up ! Otherwise you will feel strange when people laugh at you because you used the wrong word.
